You know what rhymes with pint? Do you? Do you?? Because after a walk round town with my thinking scarf on, and half an hour looking through rhyming dictionaries, I DON'T!
It doesn't even rhyme with mint. Ridiculous.
Still, at £1.50 a pop, who gives a hoot, it's a tasty measurement of cold liquid joy that we can all enjoy, and enjoy another, and then another. It'll be a great night filled with none decimal measurements and glasses that are perfectly in proportion with hands.
Or, if you don't like pints, we have other stuff behind the bar too, and it's all priced wonderfully to suit a shallow pocket. You'll be like a drinker in a drink shop, literally.
DJs Gaz & Fran will again be, as ever, serving up the Party in the main room. DJ Fil will be coming back for his second week of Sweet Indie Rock Disco upstairs in room two, after a storming first night last week. And you, well, you'll be impressive in everything you do, as you always are.
Party starts at 9.30pm, £2.50 early bird tickets are on sale now at SU Reception, Source, Essentials and all those beautiful Halls & Club sellers who deliver to your door like the most glamourous posties there ever was. The rest of the advance tickets are £4 and if you're not a student then there are a limited number of public tickets on sale from SU Reception at £6.
That's the end of the facts, now I'm off to ruin my friends night's out by demanding the find me something that rhymes with pint.
