Gotta feeling 2010 is gonna be a good year, especially if you and me see it in together. I have no reason to be over optimistic, but somehow when you smile I can brave bad weather.
20 points if you spotted the reference, 30 if you're slightly angry at me for changing the tense and making it sound like a Robbie Williams love song.
It's 2010. TWO THOUSAND AND TEN. Which is definitely the future, and I can prove this with observational science. I really can. All week there's been cars on my street, moving along quite happily without the aid of the internal combustion engine, just gliding silently down the road like players in a beautiful metallic ballet. There seems to be some issues with the steering and braking, but there's always teething problems with new technology. I'm just pleased they've finally found a solution to this global warming thing, fast acting too it seems. Brrrr.
So let's celebrate.
