You’ve seen the posters, you’ve definitely seen the posters, they’re everywhere, chances are you’ve had one pasted to your behind at some point, our pro-posterers have been merciless spreading around the faces of our good friends; Britney, George, Robbie, Amy, Kylie, and Darth. Great people, and they’ve all got a dark side which makes them that extra bit of fun to be around, and so does Promo!

Thursday 28th January – A landmark night. The big launch of Promo’s brand new second room, the unleashing of an incredible new DJ, the first chance to revel in a thunderous new music policy, the beginning of a new era.

While downstairs continues to give you, by the fair hands of masters Gaz & Fran, all the huge anthems and massive party tunes that you’ve come to know and love Promo for, upstairs is going to stimulate your dancing shoes with a sweet indie rock disco.

Enter DJ Fil, you might know him from Saturdays in Source, but the boy’s got more strings to his bow, rock n roll musician, tune junkie, a man who loves his guitar more than any fair maiden, and he knows how to make an indie rock disco, well and truly sweet.

Expect to hear indie, expect to hear rock, but don’t expect the same old mix that you always get, expect a few curveballs, expect a track list with a funny bone, most of all expect a stonking rock n roll disco, probably the best sweet indie rock disco outside of Hogwarts (wizards always have the best parties).

AND to celebrate the big launch, we’re gonna be giving away, to several lucky people, £50 CASH EVERY HOUR in the upstairs room. Nowt to be sniffed at that, eh?
